We started the day replanning the next couple of days of our trip.
Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle is making its way towards New Zealand and is expected to reach the northern North Island on Sunday. We were supposed to spend the coming 5 days in the north, right in the middle of the projected path. That didn’t sound so smart so we decided to change it up and travel south & inland instead of to the northern east coast.

Once done with the planning we set out for lunch and we found a nice little French Creperie.

After a great lunch we headed over to the War memorial Museum for a culture boost. The museum was great and is definitely worth a visit if your in Auckland.

On the way back to the hotel we walked through Auckland Domain, a large city park where the War Museum is located, and stumbled upon a bright red bridge.

To end off the day as well as this Auckland session, we had an amazing dinner at The Grove .
