Woke up to rain! Not that bad since today is mostly driving from one hotel to the next. We started out with a morning walk along the coast before breakfast. The rain had stopped by the time we got out for the walk but it was still a tad cloudy.

On our way to Fiordlands we stopped at Gem Stone Beach. We strolled down to the water to see if we could find some gems but quickly had to run back up when the waves reached higher and higher for each wave. Malin's shoes got completely flooded but we were luckier than the lady further up the beach who lost her balance and got drenched!

There wasn't many major tourist attractions along the way but Magnus managed to find a lookout point wth another signpost!, McCracken's rest. The name most likely was a bigger reason than the signpost that it got added to our itinerary.

The drive up to Fiordlands did not disappoint when it came to amazing views. Mountains everywhere!

For dinner we found an awesome restaurant serving Asian-inspired street food. We got some wild venision bao buns (called "Bambi") and some sushi bowls, yummi! And despite the rain, we stopped for some real fruit ice cream on the way back to our Motel.
